Maria Catherina Pulles (nee: Vermeé) died peacefully, in Surrey on June 16, 2017, holding husband Hank’s hand, as they had for the past 62 years. Born on November 18, 1931 in Tilburg Netherlands and moving to Canada on August 23, 1949. She met the love of her life Hank Pulles and they were married on November 6, 1954. She enjoyed socializing, and playing cards, but her all-time favorite thing was to crochet doilies! She will be lovingly missed by her husband Hank, and children; Fred (Lili), Yvonne (Steve), Rick, Mike, Dave (Cora-Lynn) and grandchildren; Jeff, (Jennifer), Melissa, Amanda, Justine, Nicole, Cassandra, Brodie and Brianna, and 8 great grandchildren. She left this beautiful world with her loving family by her side and was met in Heaven by her parents Jack and Maria Vermeé (Oma & Opa) her sister Ҫoise and brother Frank. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St Matthews Roman Catholic Parish, 16079 88 Avenue, Surrey, BC on Tuesday June 27 at 1 PM. Interment to follow at Valley View Memorial Gardens.
